Texas State's signature athletics gala, Bobcat Bonanza, lived up to its name this year, delivering an unforgettable evening of energy, generosity, and Bobcat pride. With nearly 500 guests in attendance and more than 500 supporters participating overall, the 36th annual celebration rallied the Texas State community in true Bobcat fashion to raise critical support for Bobcat Athletics.

The evening featured a robust silent auction with nearly 200 unique items, ranging from TXST-branded gear and signed memorabilia to spa packages, getaways, and exclusive Bobcat experiences. The excitement continued with a live auction of 19 luxury travel packages, which alone brought in $285,000 and helped propel the event to a record-breaking total of $560,936 raised in support of student-athletes.

This year’s live auction was led by Heath Hale, a proud Texas State alumnus and 2007 McCoy College of Business graduate. Known for his dynamic style and commitment to philanthropy, Hale and his Cowboy Auctioneers team energized the crowd and sparked competitive bidding.

Guests also enjoyed a VIP reception in the new William Trevillion IV Weight Room which offered a behind-the-scenes look at one of the latest investments in Bobcat student-athlete development. During the evening’s "Paddles Up" moment, donors raised their paddles to give directly in support of Texas State, reinforcing the powerful sense of community that defines Bobcat Bonanza.

This year’s success was made possible by a wide network of supporters, from those in the room to those who contributed from afar. Every auction bid, paddle raise, and donation added up to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our student-athletes.
