President’s Associates are the most passionate and loyal Texas State Alumni and supporters who add to the foundation of Texas State University. President’s Associates play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students by supporting President Damphousse’s priorities and addressing the university’s most urgent needs.
Your impact as a member of this exclusive group shows you believe in a better TXST and will partner with President Damphousse to provide vital resources where and when they are needed most.
Membership Levels
President’s Associates funding provides flexible, unrestricted resources that allow projects and initiatives related to the ongoing transformation of our campus to grow from concept to realization. This affords students the support needed to reach their potential and supplies funding that enables our outstanding faculty to make groundbreaking discoveries.

As a member, you can choose the level, and area of your immediate impact. Alumni and supporters under 40 have the option to contribute to presidential priorities at $500. More options include $1,000 or $10,000 annually, as a Standard or Distinguished member, respectively. Standard and Distinguished members have the option to impact a College of their choice by designating half of their annual donation to support Deans priorities.

Student success remains at the heart of everything we do at Texas State University. Improving student success metrics is a top pillar of the Hopes & Aspirations High vision for TXST’s future.
Run to R1
TXST is a national research university on the path to achieve the R1 Carnegie classification. The process will include earning access to the state’s National Research University Fund.
Increase Recruitment & Enrollment
President Damphousse created the Division of TXST Global to implement strategies to increase enrollment among international, transfer, master’s and online students.
Enhance the Round Rock Campus
TXST is in the process of creating an ambitious seven-year plan to bring 10,000 new students to the RRC by 2030.
Becoming an Employer of Choice
A critical goal of Hopes & Aspirations High is to become an employer of preference for faculty and staff.
